Na noite desse domingo (10), ocorreu a maior premiação da música, o Grammy Awards, entre os principais vencedores, destaque para Childish Gambino, que venceu com "This is America", a categoria de "Música do Ano", "Gravação do Ano" e "Melhor Clipe Musical". Quem também se destacou foi Dua Lipa, considerada a revelação da premiação que pela primeira vez na carreira, levou dois gramofones dourados para casa.

Inclusive, ao receber o Grammy de "Artista Revelação", a cantora britânica acabou "alfinetando" o presidente da cerimônia, Neil Portnow, que se envolveu em polêmica ao dizer que as mulheres precisavam "redobrar seus esforços" para vencer nas categorias. No discurso, Dua Lipa falou sobre a influência feminina no mundo e afirmou: "Acho que neste ano nos esforçamos mesmo".

Por último, destaque para Cardi B, que apesar de toda a polêmica sobre falta de mulheres concorrendo as principais categorias, a rapper garantiu o prêmio de "Melhor Álbum de Rap", gênero musical que ao longo dos anos foi "dominado" pelo gênero masculino.
