A 80ª edição do Globo de Ouro, que ocorreu nessa terça-feira (10), em Los Angeles, nos Estados Unidos, premiou os melhores do cinema e da TV. "Os Banshees de Inisherin" e "Abbott Elementary" foram os grandes vencedores da noite, ambos ganharam em três categorias.

Filme mais recente de Martin McDonagh, "Banshees" levou os prêmios de Melhor Filme de Comédia ou Musical, Melhor Roteiro (McDonagh) e Melhor Ator em Comédia ou Musical (Colin Farrell).

 No cinema, outro destaque foi para a nova produção de Steven Spielberg, "Os Falbemans", que se sobressaiu nas categorias Melhor Filme de Drama e Melhor Direção. O longa desbancou até concorrentes de peso como "Avatar: O Caminho da Água" e "Top Gun: Maverick", que ficaram sem estatuetas.

Entre as séries, a produção que conta com Tyler James William (o Chris de "Todo Mundo Odeia o Chris"), "Abbott Elementary", recebeu os prêmios por melhor Série de Comédia, Melhor Atriz em Série de Comédia (Quinta Brunson) e Melhor Ator Coadjuvante (Tyler James Williams).

"The White Lotus" foi a segunda maior vencedora, levando para casa dois prêmios: Melhor Minissérie ou Antologia e Melhor Atriz Coadjuvante (Jennifer Coolidge). "A Casa do Dragão" ganhou na categoria de Melhor Série Dramática - sua série-mãe, "Game of Thrones", curiosamente foi esnobada pelo Globo de Ouro durante todo o período que esteve em exibição.

Ainda na categoria de TV, Zendaya se consagrou na noite, levando o prêmio de Melhor Atriz em Série de Drama em sua primeira indicação ao Globo de Ouro, pela participação em "Euphoria".
