Assim como o cinema tem o Oscar, que é a premiação mais importante dos cinemas mundiais, o Emmy é dedicado aos programas, séries e profissionais de televisão.

Neste ano acontece à 73ª edição do Emmy. Ele ocorre em 19 de setembro, nos Estados Unidos e será transmitido simultaneamente, pela primeira vez, pela rede CBS e pela plataforma de streaming Paramount+. No Brasil, a cerimônia será exibida pela TNT.
